Well, when you have a break in the rain, you take advantage of it. The crane was running really late that day, by the time he got to the site to lift the floor board up on the second floor, it was totally dark. Yes, that is the moon you see in the background. My camera takes infrared photos, so I had fun trying it out. It will do color as well, but these showed up better I think.

[Left] OSB wall sheathing and what will be the second floor being lifted to the second floor by a crane. [Right] Weyerhouser Trust Joists (TJI) are used. They have a lifetime warrentee not to ever squeek. You can see the floor boards sitting on top that were lifted up the "night" before.

The walls go up and the rain comes down. Plastic is EVERYWHERE! The trust joists can't get wet, so we had a lot of fun trying to cover them up on the second floor! I wish I had pictures of Rich up on the roof at night, straddleling the joists trying to cover them up with plastic. Too scary!!!

More plastic to cover the lumber.
